NDT Weld Testing
Allows evaluation of welds without damaging them:
- Visual (VT)
- Magnetic particle (MT)
- Penetrant (PT)
- Ultrasonic (UT)
Geometric Measurements
We operate an NDT Laboratory approved by DNV for VT, MT, PT, and UT testing:
- Measurements using Faro arms (2 units) – FARO EDGE, length 3.7 m, measurement accuracy 0.064 mm
- Manual measurements – extensive set of measuring tools
Steel Testing
- Hardness measurements
- Chemical composition analysis using a mobile spark spectrometer for testing structural steel, stainless steel, cast iron, copper alloys, and aluminum — covering both metallic and non-metallic elements (carbon, phosphorus, sulfur, and nitrogen)
Paint Process Control
(Inspector FROSIO Level III)
- Surface preparation (ISO 8501-1, 8501-3, 8502-3, 8503-2)
- Salt contamination testing using the Bresle method
- Dry film thickness
- Coating adhesion (cross cut tests, pull-off tests)
- Color and gloss
Accuracy and Precision of Execution
Every component produced at Dekpol Steel undergoes geometric measurements with an accuracy of up to 0.064 mm, ensuring full functionality and seamless fit with construction machinery.
Advanced Material Testing
Our products undergo chemical composition analysis, strength testing, and corrosion resistance evaluation. Quality control is conducted by a certified FROSIO Level III inspector, and surface salinity is checked using the Bresle method to ensure durability in harsh working conditions.
